Personal Training

Choosing to have a personal trainer for some people is an easy decision but for others it may not be so easy. You need to make sure that the trainer you choose can help you meet your goals as well as providing a professional and enjoyable experience. I conduct an initial consultation with all my clients, so I can get to know more about you but it is also the chance for you to ask me any questions and discuss any reservations you may have. Your consultation is as much about me getting to know you as it is about you getting to know me, while finding out if I am the right person to support you on your health and fitness journey.

Personal Training at Lifestyle Health and Fitness revolves around the concept of functional movement. That means we focus on toning and building muscle, injury prevention, increasing flexibility, increasing strength, increasing fitness levels, increasing range of motion and improving healthy joints. There are a variety of training options available to all clients, so please ask if there's something that you would like to try.

During our sessions there are a wide range of fitness tools available for us to use which include: Bowflex cable machine, Kettle Bells, Dumbbells and Barbells, Swiss Balls, Foam Rolling, Resistance Bands, Battle Ropes, Medicine balls, Body Weight exercises, Treadmill, Spin bike and Rowing machine.

There are various health and fitness packages available to suit all budgets. We can discuss this in further detail at your complimentary consultation and all consultations are obligation free, so you don't have to buy a package if you are undecided! 

YOUR OPTIONS

All personal training packages include: Dedicated training sessions, personalised monthly exercise plans, tailor made training programs, monthly progress reviews, nutritional support and guidance, fitness testing and before and after photos. Comprehensive body composition analysis is available at request, using the most advanced technology, from Jack at NZ Body Scans.

One-to-one training

During our sessions you, your results and the experience you receive are the main focus. You will be guided through a health and fitness program that has been specifically designed just for you and the sessions will be progressive, meaning that you will be pushed that little bit more each session so that you make positive progress in achieving your results. I will take into account your current fitness levels, any injuries you may have or other limitations that have stopped you from achieving your goals previously. We can include training inside and outside of the studio or even at a place that is convenient to you.

PARTNER training

Have you ever thought about training with a friend?

It is well documented that “friends who train together stay together". By working out with a friend, not only are you getting to spend time together, you are getting encouragement and praise from one another which is an incredible motivator. It will help you remain motivated, consistent and stay accountable to each other both inside and outside of the sessions.

I will specifically design a program that will meet both of your health and fitness goals while keeping the sessions fun and enjoyable. The cost of the session is split, so it can make the sessions a more cost effective option while gaining all the benefits a solo personal training session offers.

Getting in shape for the 'Big Day" is a priority for some people. As the bride you want to look your best walking down the aisle and as the groom you want to look your best whilst waiting at the altar for your beautiful bride to arrive. What better way to get in shape than doing it with the person you love and will be spending the rest of your life with. You will get to spend quality time together before the wedding, to either de-stress from all the hectic planning or get the chance to chat about your wedding plans.
